Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage scalable Kubernetes-based cloud environments in New York. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy robust networks and automated infrastructure while guiding architectural decisions.

The role emphasizes automation, cloud-native design, and leadership in infrastructure projects, with a focus on performance and secure, reliable platform delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in cloud/infrastructure roles with architectural responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes platforms including autoscaling, node provisioning and security.
• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, networking, and managed services.
• Experience with cloud networking patterns (VPC design, routing).
• Nice-to-have: API Gateways, Akamai management and solid design principles.
• Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Kubernetes architecture, including cluster lifecycle and operational management.
• Integrate new services ensuring compatibility and scalability within the cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, and external connectivity for optimized performance.
• Develop edge and traffic management strategies (CDN, DNS, TLS).
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to enforce platform standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize traffic flows across environments.
• Produce architectural guardrails and design documents for infrastructure development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on cloud infrastructure projects.
