Job summary

HeroDevs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Shared Services team to own the cloud platform behind partner integrations. You will design, secure, and operate pipelines moving data and software releases between internal systems, APIs, and partners.

You will shape technical direction, set patterns for the team, and tackle ambiguity with a focus on reliability and security. This high-ownership role requires strong collaboration across distributed teams and deep infrastructure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, 3+ in infra/DevOps/SRE.
• Hands-on with AWS or other major cloud providers.
• IaC: Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js) or Python.
• Experience designing/operating data pipelines, APIs, or ETL.
• Strong container experience (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD experience, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Networking, IAM, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Observability, on-call, and incident response.
• Strong written comms and distributed teamwork.
• Bachelor's or equivalent practical experience.
• Git-based development and GitOps (GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure for integrations and shared platforms.
• Own infrastructure-as-code across environments.
• Architect and build secure data and package-delivery pipelines between systems and partners.
• Lead technical design for new partner integrations with data contracts and retries.
• Enhance CI/CD automation for services and infrastructure via GitHub Actions.
• Establish observability with metrics, logs, tracing, alerts, and SLOs.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for infra failures.
• Champion security, including secrets management and least-privilege access.
• Write and review services in TypeScript/Node.js and containerize deployments.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and operational guides.
