Job summary

Skylo is hiring a Senior, Cloud Infrastructure and Networking professional to own the hybrid cloud production environment. You will oversee GKE/EKS clusters, on-premise Kubernetes, storage (Ceph/Rook), and the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

This role drives incident response, runbooks, and capacity planning across global NTN operations. You will partner with NI and Platform Engineering to improve automation, GitOps workflows, and reliability while supporting Skylo’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or cloud operations with on-call ownership.
• Strong Kubernetes multi-cluster operations and on-prem private cloud experience.
• Production observability stack ownership and incident RCA experience.
• Experience with GitOps, IaC, and platform engineering interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own 24x7 cloud infrastructure health across hybrid production environments.
• Operate on-premise Kubernetes; manage storage and network stability.
• Lead incident diagnosis, RCA, and post-incident reviews for Cloud Infra.
• Define and maintain SLOs, toil reduction, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with NI and platform teams on automation and runbooks.
