Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, automation, and deployment of hybrid and multi‑cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will drive Terraform‑based IaC, secure architectures, and scalable deployments while mentoring delivery teams.

You will partner with architects, engineers, and PMs to create Cloud Design Documents, runbooks, and implementation plans, aligning with CIS/NIST standards and strong cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8–10+ years enterprise infrastructure engineering with 5+ years cloud design/automation.
• Strong Terraform IaC experience and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on cloud networking, compute, storage, and security in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Proven data center or cloud migration experience.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM) and hybrid connectivity.
• Excellent documentation and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform modules and pipelines for provisioning, config, and policy enforcement.
• Automate deployments and workflows using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.
• Perform discovery using Flexera, Device42, Cloudamize, and native cloud tools.
• Drive migration execution for IaaS, PaaS, and container workloads with performance and security in mind.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and PMs to document Cloud Design Documents and runbooks.
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and CIS/NIST compliance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and optimize environments for cost and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable automation assets.
