Job summary

Visa is seeking a skilled SW Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable applications and platform capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions to boost developer productivity, testing, and automation. You will work hands-on with code, APIs, data, cloud services, and automation tools, collaborating across product, QA, security, and operations.

This role requires at least a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience, with 2+ years in backend or API development,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
2+ years of experience developing web-based applications, backend services, RESTful APIs, or integrations.
Experience with AI-enabled software solutions, such as LLM integrations, AI-assisted workflows, automation, or agentic frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and reusable platform components.
Build developer enablement solutions, including CI/CD integrations, test automation, release automation, and engineering self-service capabilities.
Develop AI-enabled solutions such as code and test assistance, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and agentic frameworks.
Participate in technical design, code reviews, debugging, production support, and continuous improvement of reliability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions; identify risks, dependencies, and delivery concerns.
