Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a DevOps Manager, Infrastructure to lead and grow a cloud-focused team responsible for AWS-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-augmented operations. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and security across environments.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong people leadership, hands-on cloud expertise, and a track record of improving deployment velocity and operational discipline in a fast-paced SaaS setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years in DevOps or cloud infra with 2+ years in a management role.
• Proven track record leading technical teams and hiring.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience (EC2/ECS/EKS/Lambda/RDS/S3/VPC/IAM).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash; CI/CD tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps Engineers to build a high-performance, automation-focused team.
• Define goals, conduct 1:1s, provide feedback and career progression paths.
• Drive IaC, AI-augmented operations, and secure, observable infrastructure.
• Own AWS operational health and cost optimization across environments.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and release automation.
• Drive AI tooling adoption within daily DevOps workflows.
• Maintain observability, incident response, and on-call readiness.
