Job summary

McKinstry in Seattle is seeking a Senior Systems Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure in a hybrid environment. You will handle identity, security, licensing, and administration across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, and related services.

You will implement Zero Trust controls, automate tasks with PowerShell and Graph API, and collaborate with IT leadership to align cloud services with business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 tenant administration experience in a production environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure administration (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 and Azure administration; familiarity with Microsoft Graph API.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and device compliance policies.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, security best practices, and Zero Trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the McKinstry Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft Purview.
• Manage Entra ID: user/group lifecycle, CA policies, MFA, hybrid identity.
• Administer Intune and endpoint compliance policies; enforce device-based CA with security team.
• Manage M365 licensing, monitor consumption, optimize assignments, support cost governance.
• Manage enterprise app registrations, SSO integrations, and app permission governance in Entra ID.
• Support Azure infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, and security in hybrid on-prem/IaaS.
• Write and maintain KQL queries for monitoring and telemetry.
• Support hybrid connectivity and identity integration (VPN, ExpressRoute, AD Connect).
• Participate in Azure cost management and EA billing governance.
• Implement and maintain security controls and IAM in line with McKinstry policies.
