Job summary

Boys Town is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support IAM, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services, while maintaining hybrid on‑premise and cloud infrastructure. The role covers AD, RBAC, PIM, and security controls across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Responsibilities include managing VMware/Hyper‑V environments, vSAN, and Fibre Channel SAN, plus data protection and DR planning. On‑call duty may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience including systems administration, administering Windows-based systems and AD, RDP, security and user management, disaster recovery, and documentation.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments in a production setting.
• Experience managing Fibre Channel SAN infrastructure including zoning, LUN management, and HBA configuration.
• Experience with VMware vSAN architecture, configuration, and administration.
• On‑call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Owns and administers on-premises Identity Infrastructure and Entra ID, including GPOs and hybrid AD configurations.
• Manage M365 tenant configuration, security posture, licensing, and service health across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Implement DLP, sensitivity labeling, retention policies, and data protection guidance with Information Security.
• Lead identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and privileged account governance.
• Oversee virtualized server environments (VMware/Hyper‑V) and storage (vSAN, Fibre Channel SAN) operations.
