Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Senior Cloud and Hybrid Network Engineer in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will design, deploy, and manage secure networking across DoD cloud and on‑prem environments, bridging legacy VM and cloud-native deployments, and ensuring Kubernetes connectivity across isolated systems.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to modernize warfare systems, supporting IL-5/IL-6 security boundaries and DoD compliance while maintaining a high standard of punctual,

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in professional networking roles with DoD context.
• Hands-on in Azure or government cloud networking and security.
• Deep knowledge of VNETs, VPCs, VPNs, peering, and QoS concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, service mesh, and ingress.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud networking across classified cloud enclaves and IL-5/IL-6 environments.
• Configure on-premise/hybrid connectivity and secure high‑speed links to cloud providers.
• Bridge legacy VM architectures with modern cloud-native deployments.
• Maintain networking for Kubernetes clusters across isolated systems.
• Support cross-domain security and DoD compliance across environments.
• Collaborate with software/systems teams to modernize warfare systems.
