Job summary

GSK is seeking a Senior Product Owner for Cloud & Hosting in Modern Engineering. You will own strategy, roadmap and outcomes for developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting across Azure and Google Cloud, balancing security, reliability and cost.

This hands-on leadership role requires close collaboration with engineering, security, finance and procurement in the US and UK. You’ll drive adoption, set measurable outcomes, and guide feature delivery with evidence, prioritisation methods,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in technology, including 4+ years as a product owner or product manager for internal platforms, developer tools or infrastructure products.
• Delivery experience in regulated industry with change control, validation and audit processes.
• Managed backlogs for two or more teams using Jira or Azure DevOps Boards, SAFe/Scrum/Kanban.
• Defined adoption metrics and reported on DevEx, SLOs and cost of delay.

Responsibilities

• Own a 12-18 month roadmap for the Cloud & Hosting portfolio aligned to strategy and defend it with clear prioritisation.
• Define targets for adoption, DORA metrics, DevEx and cost per user; steer investment accordingly.
• Run interviews, surveys and usage analysis with delivery teams in the US and UK to identify high-value problems.
• Write and prioritise epics and features with clear acceptance criteria; lead quarterly planning.
• Hands-on engineering: participate in architecture reviews, POCs, testing and validation of solutions.
• Lead migration planning and validate Azure DevOps to GitHub consolidation and licence optimisation.
