Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Cloud ETL Developer to design and optimize large-scale data pipelines on Google Cloud. You will implement BigQuery data models, orchestrate with Cloud Composer, and partner with product and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

The role requires extensive SQL, Python, and experience with SaaS/on‑prem data sources, with a focus on cost-efficient cloud architectures and enterprise reporting integrations.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years ETL/Data Engineering experience.
• 8–10+ years SQL experience.
• 8+ years data architecture or data engineering.
• Proficiency with GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran, Google DTS, or equivalent ingestion tools.
• Experience with enterprise reporting platforms (MicroStrategy, Power BI/Tableau).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Experience designing secure data environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP.
• Orchestrate data pipelines with Fivetran, DTS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement BigQuery data modeling, partitioning, and cost/performance tuning.
• Ensure data validation, governance, and access controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analytics teams across the organization.
