Job summary

EVERSANA in Illinois seeks a Database Administrator to administer and implement database solutions, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based systems, including performance tuning, security, backups, and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop, administer, and optimize BigQuery datasets and data pipelines, support reporting tools (Looker/Tableau), collaborate with IT and development teams in an Agile setting, and participate in on-call rotation and incident

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud database administration experience.
• Administrative knowledge of Active Directory and other forms of database security.
• Scripting and automation experience.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, AWS.
• Experience with AI agents, copilots, or intelligent automation in database administration, cloud operations, monitoring, documentation, or analytics use cases.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement database solutions in cloud environments including patching and maintenance.
• Monitor database instances for performance, utilization, and capacity; work with application teams as needed.
• Develop, administer, and optimize BigQuery datasets, tables, views, and data pipelines.
• Advise report writers and support deployment of reporting solutions (Looker/Tableau).
• Provide on-call support and incident management; resolve issues for end users.
