Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of hands on cloud engineering and/or development experience.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).
• Experience with IaC tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
• Knowledge of cloud templates and architecture frameworks (GitHub Enterprise, TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience automating workflows with scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON).
• Experience meeting security requirements in complex environments (DoD-like).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP services with IaC tools (Terraform/ARM).
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud environment issues while applying security best practices.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender, and Sentinel for security posture and compliance.
• Write and run automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI).
• Configure NSGs, gateways, and network controls to protect resources.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and databases with security standards.
