Job summary

Reinsurance Group Of America, Incorporated (RGA) is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our public cloud infrastructure. You will work on infrastructure as code, security, and high-availability initiatives across global environments.

We expect hands‑on expertise in Terraform, cloud services, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows, with a strong focus on reliability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required.
8+ Years experience performing IT related roles required.
3+ Years of hands-on experience with application deployment, setup and configuration on public cloud services required.
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinates the design, development, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, network, and layout; builds and maintains public cloud platform infrastructure as code services.
Ensures public cloud infrastructure meets security, availability, and reliability requirements and complies with security policies.
Executes DevOps standards and best practices across RGA infrastructure.
Maintains broad knowledge of cloud engineering trends and technology advancements.
Monitors and improves cloud system uptime, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
Provides regular status, operational, incident, and change reports.
