Job summary

Ora Apps Inc. is seeking a hands-on cloud engineer to design, implement, and secure production workloads on OCI for a regulated DoD environment. The role emphasizes infrastructure automation, secure architectures, and DevSecOps practices.

You'll contribute to cloud migrations, high availability, disaster recovery, and strict compliance with RMF/NIST/FedRAMP. An active Secret clearance or higher, Security+ CE, and OCI certification are required at submission.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering role in secure cloud architecture for a DoD-regulated environment.
• Experience with OCI, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (RMF/NIST/FedRAMP) and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong Linux admin and on-prem/cloud integration experience.

Job description

Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher

Certifications: Current CompTIA Security+ CE and OCI certification

• Engagement: C2C/1099
• Rate: $91.93/hour
• Annualized Amount: $176,506 (based on 1,920 hours)

Key Technical Requirements:

• Hands-on experience designing and managing production workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, networking, hybrid connectivity, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks, including RMF, NIST, and FedRAMP.
• Strong Linux administration and enterprise infrastructure support experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, cloud migrations, and infrastructure automation is beneficial.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on secure cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and modernization within a regulated DoD environment.
