Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cloud Software Developer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications in AWS. You will work on an Agile team to implement Node.js/React applications, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and ensure secure cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
• Strong hands-on JS/TS experience with Node.js and React.js

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Node.js, React.js, and related frameworks
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK
• Build and deploy pipelines and platform operations
• Troubleshoot Linux issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Apply secure-by-design patterns and participate in hardening tasks
• Collaborate with teams deploying workloads on AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, IAM)
