CMiT is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain AWS Serverless applications using React (TypeScript) and Node.js (TypeScript). You will collaborate with experienced developers who review your code and guide you toward best practices in a supportive, Agile team setting.

This role emphasizes growth across frontend and backend work, with opportunities to learn AWS services and contribute to real-world federal and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience or 5 years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and improving features using React with TypeScript and Node.js with TypeScript.
• Connect applications to AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
• Turn ideas and requirements into working code in collaboration with the team.
• Write basic tests and ensure applications are reliable.
• Troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in Agile meetings and learn the software development process.
