Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure multi-cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI in Chantilly, VA. You will apply IaC techniques and DevOps practices to enhance security, scalability, and efficiency in mission-critical projects.

The role requires strong cloud experience, IaC proficiency, and familiarity with cloud security standards. DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or eligibility within six months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or 4+ years in IT roles.
• 5+ years in cloud computing; design, deployment, and management across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI.
• IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git; scripting in PowerShell, Python, Bash, YAML, or JSON.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 cert or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage multi-cloud services across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI using IaC to automate deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-cloud environments ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain cloud security measures including network security groups and gateways.
• Leverage cloud-native security, logging, and compliance tools to ensure robust posture.
• Develop automation scripts/workflows to streamline cloud operations.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across providers for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud architecture and security best practices.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
