Job summary

DRW is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate our cloud and hybrid infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You will own reliability, security, and performance while partnering with engineering, security, and operations teams to enable secure, scalable cloud usage.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in production cloud environments (AWS preferred) with hands-on IaC, cloud networking, and FinOps awareness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience engineering and administering production cloud environments in multi-cloud and hybrid settings.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, Python, APIs/SDKs, CI/CD, Git).
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, private connectivity).
• Security fundamentals (IAM, encryption, secrets management, least-privilege).
• Observability, monitoring, and alerting; troubleshoot complex production problems.
• Understand FinOps and cloud cost models; cost allocation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate DRW's cloud and hybrid infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Engineer resilient cloud connectivity between cloud providers and on-premises systems.
• Own root cause analysis for complex production incidents and implement durable fixes.
• Build automation, reference architectures, and documentation to improve deployment consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and business teams to enable secure, scalable cloud usage.
• Advise teams on reliability, performance, security, and cost considerations for cloud architectures.
• Support 24/7 on-call rotation for production cloud environments.
• Evaluate and adopt new cloud services to improve developer experience and efficiency.
