Job summary

DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, seeks a Cloud Manager to define strategy for DRW's multi-cloud environment and lead a team of cloud engineers. You will ensure secure, highly available platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and Snowflake, partnering with security, networking, and business teams.

You will own the cloud roadmap, drive operational excellence, and promote scalable, cost-aware solutions while mentoring the team and managing stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production cloud engineering and administration.
• 8+ years in multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• 4+ years leading cloud engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, IaC (Terraform, Python, CI/CD, Git).
• Service-first mindset with cost visibility and FinOps.
• Strong collaboration with peer teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in financial services or trading environments is a plus.
• Willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, vision, and direction for DRW's multi-clouds.
• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Snowflake).
• Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing cloud engineering team.
• Partner with security, networking, and business teams for integration.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and on-call incident response.
• Drive cost visibility and FinOps practices.
