Job summary

DRW, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Cloud Manager to define strategy and lead a multi-cloud engineering team across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and Snowflake. You will own the cloud roadmap, drive security and performance, and collaborate with security and networking teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will manage a high-performing team, mentor engineers, and ensure 24/7 support readiness for production environments in a fast-paced trading context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience engineering and administering production cloud environments in multi-cloud and hybrid settings.
• 4+ years of experience managing and leading a team of cloud engineers.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, cloud security fundamentals, and infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Python, CI/CD, and Git.
• Experience in financial services or trading environments is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and ongoing management of DRW's cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Snowflake) and on-prem/hybrid.
• Own the cloud roadmap and align with business needs.
• Mentor and lead engineering team, including hiring, performance reviews, and career development.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and other tech groups to ensure resilient cloud connectivity.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and incident escalation.
