Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer II to join the Sensor Foundations team. You will help build cloud-side detections processing and evolve real-time endpoint-to-cloud communications, primarily in Go, with mentoring and cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure cloud architectures, learning, and applying AI-driven approaches to improve security workflows. A strong candidate has 8+ years on backend systems and a CS background.

Qualifications

• Requires a computer science background or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience building and scaling back-end systems in production.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, OCI) and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks at a global scale.
• Design and build with multiple teams across the company.
• Mentor and help fellow engineers grow.
• Deliver and accept feedback professionally.
• Build elegant solutions in Go and other languages.
• Read and understand code in Go, Python, and shell scripts.
• Apply best practices for testing, reviews, logging, and resilient architecture.
• Own deliverables and take leadership when needed.
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
