Brown University Health is seeking a Cloud Engineer II to lead design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise cloud infrastructures (public and private). You will ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency while driving automation and orchestration.

This role collaborates with development, security, and operations teams, mentors junior engineers, and develops DR and backup strategies. A degree in CS or engineering and cloud certifications are preferred; 7+ years' experience

Competenze

• High school diploma required; degree in CS/engineering strongly preferred.
• Relevant cloud platform certification required within first year of employment.
• 7+ years of enterprise cloud experience with AWS/Azure or Google Cloud.

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies to protect data and applications from threats.
• Optimize performance and cost-efficiency through monitoring and automation; implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
