Job summary

Rearc is a cloud consulting company that empowers engineers to build cloud infrastructure and drive digital transformation for customers. We are seeking an AWS-focused Cloud Engineer to evaluate customers' existing infrastructure, guide enhancements, and support migration projects to secure, cloud-native solutions.

You will design and manage cloud infrastructure with AWS CDK, build CI/CD pipelines, and help remediate security gaps, collaborating with engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on with AWS CDK; familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of security, networking, and cloud best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

• Evaluate customers' existing infrastructure and provide guidance on enhancing cloud infrastructure, security posture, automation, and developer experience.
• Support application migration projects, helping move legacy or on-prem workloads to secure, cloud-native solutions.
• Contribute to customer-facing engagements, helping scope requirements and shape architecture recommendations.

What You'll Build:

• Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK, upholding security and cloud computing best practices.
• Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying customers' applications to cloud infrastructure.
• Help identify and remediate security gaps in customer cloud environments.

Who You Are:

• Strong expertise in compute, storage, networking, and security services on AWS, along with cloud-native best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and familiarity with other IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
