Job summary

Referment is partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer for its New York infrastructure team. You will design and build a resilient cloud platform across AWS and Azure, leveraging Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes to automate deployments and ensure security and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in cloud/infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Experience building containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of IAM, encryption and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Shape cloud architecture and engineering standards for a global investment business.
• Build cloud-native platforms using containers, microservices, serverless and orchestration tools.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible and other automation technologies.
• Build and improve automated deployment pipelines for faster, safer changes.
• Monitor, optimise and troubleshoot performance, availability, security and cost.
