Job summary

DTE Energy is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer – System Resiliency to design, build, and operate highly reliable cloud platforms. You’ll apply software and systems engineering to prevent outages, embed resiliency patterns, and work with architecture, security, and operations to ensure rapid recovery.

You will lead the cloud strategy for automation and deployment of cloud infrastructure, overseeing development and hosting across multiple product teams, guiding higher-impact digital initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with cloud focus and 4+ years in cloud initiatives
• Experience with strategy development, architecture, and implementation of cloud initiatives
• Demonstrated DevOps practices and agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cloud standards and vendor selections
• Design and implement cloud automation for provisioning infrastructure
• Oversee DevOps automation and CI/CD for digital factory products
• Configure and provision NGI and private/public cloud stacks in private cloud
• Improve cloud reliability, availability, and cost/benefit impact
• Manage capacity across cloud resource pools and automate scaling
• Guide less-experienced cloud developers in migration, provisioning, deployment
