Job summary

Fisher Investments in Washington state seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Team. You will design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure-based infrastructure and automation to support our global growth.

You will collaborate with architects and owners to ensure security, compliance, and efficient operations, implementing IaC and CI/CD pipelines, and providing on‑call support with a flexible off‑hours schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure across cross‑platform tech
• 5+ years building/deploying of IaaS/PaaS on Azure/AWS
• 4+ years IaC using Terraform with modules and CI/CD
• 2+ years Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Knowledge of AI platforms on cloud
• Security/governance controls in cloud environments
• Networking (DNS, routing, firewalls, private access)
• Scripting/automation for builds and workflows
• Linux and Windows server administration
• Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling
• Deploy enterprise cloud resources using code
• Serve as liaison between business owners and cloud team
• Develop and maintain scalable AI infrastructure on the cloud
• Adhere to security audits and controls in all actions
• Advance IaC, CI/CD tooling and automated deployments
• Improve deployment processes and automation scripts
• Participate in peer reviews, design discussions, and on‑call rotations
• Use CM tools to deliver cloud solutions with best practices
• Coordinate with architects to ensure standards and security compliance
• Monitor current cloud usage, assess risks, and propose optimizations
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support with flexible off-hours schedule
