Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a highly independent Senior Software Engineer for hybrid work in Burbank/Glendale, CA. You will own AWS cloud projects, drive serverless development, and guide architecture with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep knowledge of AWS serverless technologies.
• Strong TypeScript development background.
• Experience with AWS security, networking, permissions and infrastructure.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals and code quality practices.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions.
• Nice to have: experience supporting multiple projects and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS cloud-based applications and services.
• Support and enhance existing serverless solutions.
• Own and drive development across multiple projects.
• Participate in daily standups and collaborate with a team of about 10 engineers.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new AWS technologies and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture and development approaches.
