Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and scale AWS-based cloud infrastructure. You will guide junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions across multiple classification domains.

You will lead automation, governance, and deployment processes, stay current on cloud technologies, and act as SME for Cloud engineering best practices while communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
• Certification to satisfy DoD 8140/8570 (e.g. Security+ or above).
• 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with AWS at scale across classification domains (IL5/IL6+).
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS, etc.
• Experience with IaC tools: CloudFormation or Terraform, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor cloud engineers and review their work.
• Translate technical requirements for stakeholders and ensure security/compliance.
• Develop cloud governance strategies and compliance with standards.
• Lead automated deployment, monitoring, and management processes.
• Act as SME on cloud engineering best practices and share knowledge.
• Engage in risk management assessments and architecture reviews.
