Safelite is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Columbus, OH, to design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend services using Python and C#/.NET. You will run on AWS, implement CI/CD, and collaborate across product, QA, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, scalable architectures, and cost-efficient delivery. Ideal candidate has 8+ years of software experience, AWS expertise, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software development experience in enterprise or product-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python and C#/.NET on AWS.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
• Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform).
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and C#/.NET.
• Build and support cloud-native applications on AWS; leverage managed services where possible.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborate with product managers and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Analyze and resolve production issues focusing on reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards and best practices.
• Support technical design discussions and contribute to ongoing system improvements.
