Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer in St. Louis, hybrid role, to design, implement, and modernize enterprise cloud environments in AWS and OCI.

You will collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Cybersecurity, and IT teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in cloud engineering, strong hands-on AWS/OCI experience, and a passion for automation, DevSecOps, and cloud modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS) and OCI (Compute, Networking, Object Storage, IAM).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and OCI.
• Implement hybrid cloud connectivity between cloud and on-prem data centers.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or OCI Resource Manager.
• Configure cloud networking components (VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs, Transit Gateways, Load Balancers, DNS).
• Lead cloud capacity planning, governance, and cost optimization.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra and apps; automate provisioning.
