Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC seeks a Cloud Engineer III to design, implement, and sustain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure for DoD missions. You will automate deployment with IaC, lead Tier 3 support, and collaborate across security, architecture, and ops teams to meet enterprise standards.

You will build scalable pipelines, enforce DoD cybersecurity controls, and mentor junior engineers while advancing enterprise modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree with extensive cloud experience.
• Hands-on design, deployment, and support of enterprise cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Automation skills with Ansible, PowerShell, and serverless options.
• Strong CI/CD experience and DevSecOps mindset.
• Knowledge of IAM/ICAM technologies and federated identity.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and DoD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure.
• Develop IaC and automation to support continuous deployment pipelines.
• Lead cloud modernization including migrations from on-prem to cloud.
• Troubleshoot Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, and identity issues.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, and operations teams to meet DoD standards.
• Create architecture runbooks, documentation, and engineering standards.
