Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Cloud Senior Specialist Engineer to work closely with cloud engineers and internal/external customers to provide and maintain cloud solutions. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting, and the ability to drive test/validate and implement custom cloud solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in software development or cloud engineering, 2–3 years in cloud support across AWS/Azure/GCP, and familiarity with Terraform, Ansible,

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Software Development, Cloud Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of cloud support experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Associate’s Degree or related field preferred.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cloud engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver cloud solutions.
• Oversee test/validate, troubleshoot, and implement custom solutions.
• Create runbooks and reference materials to aid cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• Apply IaC concepts using Terraform/Ansible/Salt to provision infrastructure.
• Maintain high availability and service continuity across the tech stack.
