Eliassen Group seeks a senior Cloud Engineer to own a legacy GCP and Azure footprint and drive modernization. You will support automation, platform builds using GCP, Go, Temporal, and Terraform, and guide AI adoption while aligning with engineering standards.

Remote role with benefits for w2 consultants; collaboration across teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions and compliance-ready architectures.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in cloud engineering with GCP and Azure preferred.
• Automation experience with Go and Python; Terraform and Temporal.
• 3+ years with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Crossplane) and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Lead AI adoption and automation to improve cloud scalability and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and share technology trends across teams and communities.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions.
• Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Provide technical leadership and define standards for design and operations.
• Define service boundaries and reusable integration patterns with architects.
• Identify improvements and influence long-term cloud strategy in a build‑and‑own model.
• Incorporate cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, audits, and change management.
