Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is actively seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and sustain cloud-native applications and data platforms for federal customers. You will work with Databricks-enabled analytics, AI delivery platforms, and enterprise Data-as-a-Service capabilities to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with Zero Trust and federal cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in software development, database engineering, full-stack development, or cloud engineering supporting enterprise environments.
• Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience developing cloud-native applications using Python, SQL, Spark, REST APIs, and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native software applications, APIs, data services, and enterprise solutions supporting mission requirements.
• Serve as the senior technical lead for software and database development activities supporting cloud modernization and AI-enabled service delivery initiatives.
• Architect and develop applications utilizing modern cloud-native design patterns, microservices, serverless computing, and containerized deployments.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data pipelines supporting data ingestion, transformation, analytics, machine learning, and reporting capabilities.
• Design and maintain robust relational and NoSQL database solutions supporting operational and analytical workloads.
• Develop secure REST APIs, web services, and application integrations for enterprise data exchange.
