Accenture Federal Services is recruiting a Cloud Engineer to design, engineer, and integrate a scalable cloud environment that underpins client systems. You will implement cloud services, optimize architecture for performance and cost, and ensure security and reliability across multi‑cloud and hybrid deployments.
The role requires 8+ years in cloud engineering, strong automation skills with IaC, and adherence to DoD 8140 guidelines.

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the Client System. This role will implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available. The engineer will architect multi‑cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails. They will design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on‑premises resources, configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources, and implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations. The engineer will optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs, implement auto‑scaling solutions to handle variable workloads, and design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads. This position will evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption, maintain cloud architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to other teams.
Compensation varies by location, role, and experience. Base pay ranges from $106,300 – $221,100 USD in the applicable states and the city of Cleveland. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement and other benefits. For more details, visit our benefits page.
