Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Senior Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solutions. You will fuse business goals with technical design, guide AWS-based implementations, and ensure customer outcomes are achieved through Well-Architected and CAF frameworks.

As a senior leader, you will drive risk management, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor less-experienced staff, while maintaining strong communications with clients and executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 5+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale.
• 5+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements experience.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
