Job summary

Cintel, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Developer to lead design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions in support of enterprise modernization efforts at Redstone Arsenal.

You will establish secure, scalable cloud environments, support PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS, and work with multi-cloud and hybrid strategies while maintaining compliance and performance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in software development or cloud architecture.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and managing secure environments.
• Ability to architect cloud solutions that support high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
• Proficient in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud service models for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
• Automate infrastructure and apps using DevSecOps practices.
• Migrate secure cloud-native and hybrid applications.
• Analyze existing apps and advise migration or rehosting strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategy, costs, and recovery planning.
• Manage cloud policies and evaluate new technologies.
• Establish secure, compliant cloud environments for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and architects to align with goals.
• Document architectures, processes, and transfer knowledge.
