Job summary

Iridium Communications Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications and deployment infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.

You will implement secure, scalable cloud solutions and contribute to architecture and deployment strategies in an Agile environment. The role requires active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one; hybrid work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience across full SDLC.
• Experience with AWS EKS/Kubernetes and automated container deployments.
• Proficiency with AWS and Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Strong communication and Agile teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native software and deployment platforms.
• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-native solutions.
• Maintain project status, documentation, and issue tracking.
• Follow secure development practices and configuration management.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum planning and sprints.
• Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
