Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer to join the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, Alabama.

The role focuses on designing secure, cloud-native architectures and building automated DevSecOps pipelines to deploy mission workloads across IL5/IL6 environments. You will lead modernization of legacy DoD applications, implement secure-by-design software factories, and ensure compliance with RMF through automated security controls and strict cATO

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure cloud-native architectures for IL5/IL6 DoD environments.
• Hands-on development of secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
• Knowledge of RMF, DoD cybersecurity mandates and cATO processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines aligned with DoD DevSecOps references.
• Embed automated security controls and conduct SAST/DAST/SCA testing.
• Develop modular IAC templates for AWS, Azure and on-premise environments.
• Lead migrations from legacy DoD on-prem to GovCloud/Azure Government with zero degradation.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud and on-prem hybrid workloads.
