Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to advance our cloud infrastructure, release workflows, and security postures. You will lead Kubernetes administration, IaC with Terraform, and observability initiatives while driving cost optimization and agile practices across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include designing GitOps pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD), managing platform releases, and migrating workloads from Azure to GCP.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on automation, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD practices.
• 2+ years of experience in release management, including managing and streamlining release workflows for platforms or application libraries.
• Strong hands-on engineering experience with both Azure and GCP environments.
• Advanced proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools (Terraform), and the CNCF ecosystem.
• Expertise in infrastructure security, cost optimization, and Kubernetes administration.
• Active certification in CKA, CKAD, or relevant cloud architecture credentials.
• Experience leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strict focus on system scalability and reliability.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain GitOps and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and modern tools.
• Oversee release management processes to ensure timely, high-quality updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to standardize and automate release workflows.
• Build and manage IaC with Terraform to provision cloud resources.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters and train colleagues on usage.
• Develop and maintain robust infrastructure and container logging solutions.
• Implement observability with OpenTelemetry.
• Optimize cloud costs via scalable, governed strategies.
• Enhance cloud security by automating patches and integrating security tools.
• Architect and manage cloud networking and implement Azure policies.
