Job summary

Openkyber, LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will ensure security compliance, optimize cloud operations, and collaborate with development teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining cloud platforms.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (public/private).
• 5+ years with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• 5+ years containerization and container-based deployments.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years working with enterprise networking, observability, monitoring, and cost management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, recovery.
• Experience with Windows and .NET environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain enterprise hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical oversight of cloud architecture, infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, databases, security, monitoring, logging, and automation.
• Participate in vendor architecture discussions and review proposed cloud designs.
• Validate cloud architecture against enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and recommend solutions for architecture, security, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment processes.
• Implement and support application containerization and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Incorporate security requirements including IAM, encryption, network security, and disaster recovery.
• Support compliance with government and industry standards such as NIST and IRS Publication 1075.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and support requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve security, performance, scalability, automation, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new cloud services and marketplace solutions for potential enterprise use.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, documentation, and hands-on training to internal IT teams.
