Job summary

Allegion in Carmel, IN is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our product delivery team. You will work at the intersection of security, development and cloud infrastructure to review code, plan features, strengthen releases and improve reliability and observability of our cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with internal and global IT teams in a hybrid model, with some in‑person office time in Carmel, Indiana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or site reliability roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and IaC.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
• Strong observability and incident response capabilities.
• Solid scripting and source control experience (Git).
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments and cross‑functional work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product delivery teams to deploy and monitor applications.
• Design and implement infrastructure using cloud standards and IaC.
• Improve site reliability, SLAs, and incident response.
• Build automation to accelerate builds, releases, and scaling.
• Implement monitoring, alerts, analytics, and dashboards.
• Partner with IT, cloud operations, and security teams to resolve issues.
• Engage with development teams to understand code, dependencies and runtime infra.
• Act as a liaison between architecture, cloud operations and order management.
• Drive initiatives to maximize availability and streamline operations.
• Evaluate emerging cloud tech for fit and use cases.
