Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments. You’ll contribute to automation, configuration, and monitoring to improve software delivery speed and reliability.

This is a remote role open to candidates within roughly 70 miles of our office locations in Louisville, Allen TX, Springfield MO, or Monett MO. You’ll collaborate across teams, participate in on-call rotations, and help advance our

Qualifications

3 years of experience in a specialized engineering role.
Experience with SQL and Datadog.
Working knowledge of PowerShell, Java, NodeJS, Azure DevOps or Jsource.

Responsibilities

Learn to actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, prototyping, detailed design, development, technical documentation, and defect fixing.
Learn to contribute to the technical design and implementation of system deployment automation and configuration management tools.
Learn the developing software in appropriate scripting languages using agile design-build-test methodologies.
Learn to construct, improve, and maintain the automated deployment pipelines.
Collaborates effectively with team members from different disciplines, including developers, operations, and quality assurance and communicates progress, challenges, and solutions in a clear and timely manner.
May perform other duties as assigned.
