Job summary

Capgemini in Texas, hybrid role, seeks a cloud engineer with hands-on expertise in Python, Java, Go, and JavaScript across AWS/Azure and Kubernetes environments. Expected to manage IaC, CI/CD, and production reliability while deploying secure, scalable cloud architectures.

You will work in a hybrid Westlake, TX setting, collaborating with global teams and leveraging modern monitoring to ensure seamless operations and governance across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript).
• Solid experience with public cloud and cloud infrastructure builds.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS or Azure certifications.
• Experience provisioning compute resources and IAM roles in the cloud.
• Experience building VPCs, private networks and network routes in the public cloud.
• Familiar with modern monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk).
• Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud resources.
• Conduct incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Monitor production systems, optimize reliability, and support high-availability.
