Job summary

Main Sail LLC in Columbus, OH, is seeking a senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, with emphasis on automation and scalable infrastructure. You will lead operations for containers, Kubernetes, and IaC, collaborate with architects and developers, and ensure secure, reliable deployments across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree, Azure AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, and 7+ years in enterprise cloud

Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Technology or related field.
Azure AZ-305 and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certifications are required.
Current Salesforce AD201/AD301 preferred.
10+ years in computer systems analysis/network administration.
5+ years with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
7+ years in software engineering in enterprise environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Advanced experience with multi-vendor cloud integrations.

Responsibilities

Lead operational design, maintenance, and operation of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce).
Guide technical teams on best practices and functional experience.
Drive automation to minimize manual work across the cloud ecosystem.
Translate stakeholder requirements into technical implementations.
Deploy, configure, and maintain containers and Kubernetes.
Integrate legacy systems with cloud-based solutions.
Develop CI/CD frameworks and infrastructure as code processes.
Coordinate testing, issue documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Provide 24/7 on-call support across departments and apps.
