Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS, with some Azure support. The role focuses on Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, ensuring reliability and rapid deployment.

You will collaborate with software, security, and platform teams, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to security best practices while on-site in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infra roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda)
• Experience with AKS, Azure DevOps, VNets, Azure AD.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS with Azure support.
• Build and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS) for scalable workloads.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Enforce cloud security best practices and IAM policies.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment velocity and observability.
• Document infrastructure architecture and runbooks.
