Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to automate provisioning and deployment across AWS and GCP. You will build reusable infrastructure modules, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, observable environments for RAG and knowledge pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on Terraform experience on AWS and GCP.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP provisioning and operations.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Google Cloud Build, and AWS CodePipeline.
• IAM, secrets management, networking, and cloud security expertise.
• Understanding of cloud landing zones and IaC best practices.
• Exposure to vector databases, search indexes, and RAG/knowledge pipelines.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI and AWS Bedrock infrastructure.
• AWS DevOps or Google Cloud DevOps certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC using Terraform across AWS and GCP.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning, networking, IAM, secrets, and logging.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment of pre-built packages.
• Provision and manage infrastructure for RAG and knowledge pipelines.
• Implement environment creation, updates, backups, and teardown.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards for readiness.
• Manage cloud security through IAM, secrets, private networking, and audit logs.
• Collaborate with architects and data engineers to create reusable modules.
• Optimize cloud costs with budgets, tagging, and idle-environment management.
