Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. The role focuses on IaC, automation, and scalable environments to support RAG and knowledge pipelines.

The candidate will implement deployment pipelines, secure configurations, and reusable modules while collaborating with data engineers and architects to optimize costs and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of IT experience with 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on Terraform on AWS and GCP.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AWS & GCP provisioning & operations.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Google Cloud Build, and AWS CodePipeline.
• IAM, secrets management, networking, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC using Terraform across AWS and GCP.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning, networking, IAM, secrets management, and logging.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for controlled deployment of pre-built packages and configurations.
• Provision and manage infrastructure for RAG and knowledge pipelines (documents, vector DBs, indexes, indexing jobs).
• Implement automated environment creation, updates, backups, snapshots, and teardown processes.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards for operational readiness.
• Manage cloud security through IAM, secrets, private networking, and audit logging.
• Collaborate with architects, application specialists, and data engineers to create reusable deployment modules.
• Optimize cloud costs with budgets, tagging, labels, and idle-environment management.
