Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to optimize AWS workloads and help build a new GCP environment. You will own cloud-native and hybrid deployments, design CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning, and ensure security and regulatory compliance across platforms.

Ideal candidates have deep hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, IaC, automation, and AI infrastructure, delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; minimum ten years IT experience with DevOps/cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience deploying workloads in AWS
• Working knowledge of GCP and deployment/support of cloud services
• Proven CI/CD design, implementation, and tooling in enterprise environments
• Strong automation/scripting with Ansible and Python
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure support and cloud platforms
• Experience in compliant, FedRAMP/NIST-like environments
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize existing AWS workloads and infrastructure.
• Build and operationalize GCP support for new workloads.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for apps and infra.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot apps across AWS and GCP.
• Automate provisioning and config management; IaC practices.
• Support AI/ML platform deployments and related infrastructure.
• Ensure security/compliance in cloud environments (FedRAMP/NIST).
• Create documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
